Karnataka Free Laptop Scheme 2019:— Like other State Governments recently Karnataka State Government has also announced to distribute free laptops to Government college students. Laptops will be distributed only to those students who have passed their +2 class and have started studying in the first year. The name of this scheme has been kept as Karnataka Laptop Bhagya Scheme. According to a report, 1.09 lakh students will get free laptops under this scheme. This scheme has been announced on Friday by the state cabinet. Laptops will be given only to those students who took admission in the academic year of 2019-20.

Karnataka Free Laptop Scheme 2019 Eligibility

Before applying for Free Laptop Scheme students must ensure that they must match the eligibility criteria of this scheme.

1. Students must be a 12th standard pass.
2. Students should be studying in their first year of graduation.
3. Must be a resident of Karnataka.
4. Students family income should be less than 2.5 lakh annually.
5. Laptops will be given to only Government college Students.

3. Bonafide Certificate

Karnataka Government aim is to provide laptops to those students whose families are not financially good. This move will also encourage students to make their future bright. Having a laptop will help them to gain knowledge and understand new things. So naturally having a laptop will help students to done things in an easier way. These laptops will be given to those students who are doing the following courses under government colleges.

2. Medical
3. Post Graduate Courses
4. Engineering
5. Dental

NOTE — Presently there is no notification revealed regarding filling the Karnataka Free Laptop Scheme 2019 online form. But as per sources tender has been given to two companies for supplying laptops. We will inform you shortly as soon as the government updates the process of giving laptops.
