This scheme aims to give scholarships to those children who are spending their lives in orphanages. In a report, there are 75000 children’s currently staying at orphanages. These figures are very surprising. Kerala government has launched a scholarship scheme named “Snehapoorvam”. This scheme will provide financial assistance to orphan children. Snehapoorvam Scholarship 2020 is for those children whose parents have been died and children are spending their lives in the Annathalayas or with their relatives.
Snehapoorvam Scholarship 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Children should be below 5 years.
He or She must be a permanent resident of Kerala.
Children should belong to BPL(below poverty line) family.
Those who have lost their mother or father or both will be only eligible.
Applicant belonging to APL category their annual income should be less than 20000/- (For rural areas) and for urban areas Rs 22,375.

Class 1st To 5th — Rs 300/month
Class 6th To 10th — Rs 500/month
Class 11th to 12th — Rs 700/month
For Degree or Pro Courses — Rs1000/month

You have to fill the application form and have to attach all the necessary documents as mentioned above. You have to submit the application form to the head of your institution. Then the further process will be done by the head office department. They send all the application forms via online mode then a list will be prepared by the department and selected students will get the scholarship.
